Sycamores Welcomes New Board Members

Sycamores is pleased to announce the appointment of Christina Bang and Lynne Wines to the agency’s Governing Board. The pair officially joined the Board at Sycamores’ Annual Board Meeting on October 16, 2025. Bang is the President of Bang Licensing Group, and Wines has an extensive background in banking and non-profit leadership. “Christina and Lynne exemplify the kind of visionary leadership and compassion that drive Sycamores’ mission,” said Debra Manners, President and CEO of Sycamores. “Their diverse experience and dedication will be invaluable as we continue working to ensure that every individual we serve has the opportunity for a better life.”

Sycamores Board Member Christina Bang

Bang brings more than two decades of experience in the entertainment and lifestyle industries to the Sycamores Board. As President of Bang Licensing Group, she leads a boutique agency specializing in strategic brand partnerships and consumer products licensing. Before founding her firm, she held leadership roles at Warner Bros., The Walt Disney Company, and DreamWorks, developing high-impact collaborations that connected global audiences with iconic brands. A committed Sycamores supporter since 2020, Bang has volunteered in community outreach and served as Sycamores’ Gala Co-Chair in both 2023 and 2024, helping raise record funds and visibility for the agency.

Sycamores Board Member Lynne Wines

Wines is an accomplished executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience in the banking and nonprofit sectors. She has served as President and CEO of several financial institutions, including First Southern Bank, CNL Bank, and Union Bank of Florida, where she guided substantial growth and profitability. In addition to her extensive corporate leadership, Wines has demonstrated a long-standing commitment to community service – holding key roles with organizations such as United Way of Broward County, Leadership Florida, and 211 First Call for Help. She currently serves on the Board of Directors of BankUnited and is a member of Women Corporate Directors.

The Annual Board Meeting also saw the passing of the gavel from Sonia A. Solin, who completed her two-year term as Board Chair, to Jan Emamian, the new Board Chair. Solin, Vice President of Marketing and Growth for HRC Fertility Management, is an accomplished healthcare marketing executive with extensive experience leading brand, growth, and partnership strategies for major healthcare organizations across Southern California. Manners expressed her deep gratitude for Solin’s leadership, saying, “During Sonia’s tenure as Board Chair, Sycamores expanded its unarmed behavioral health crisis teams in Los Angeles and Riverside Counties, broke ground on new Children’s Crisis Programs at our El Nido campus, and was named Nonprofit of the Year by the California State Legislature. Her dedication and vision have strengthened our mission and helped countless individuals create a better life.” While she will no longer serve as Board Chair, Solin will remain an active member of the Board.

A seasoned real estate professional and active community volunteer with a long-standing dedication to Pasadena-area organizations, including Sycamores, Emamian has been a member of the Sycamores Governing Board since 2020 and served as Vice Chair of the Board for the past two years. “Jan’s warmth, generosity, and support for Sycamores make her a wonderful choice to lead our Board,” said Manners. “She brings a deep understanding of our mission and a heartfelt commitment to helping the children, young adults, and families we serve build brighter futures.”
