Baby Shower Backpacks

Sycamores received a special delivery from the Assistance League of Arcadia – 50 “Baby Shower Backpacks” filled with some essential items needed to welcome and care for infants. Wipes, diaper cream, pacifiers, books, onesies, soap, swaddles, bottles, and gift cards were among the goodies included in each backpack. As every new mom knows, newborns have many needs, and we are deeply grateful for this generous donation to provide the low-income new and expectant mothers we serve with a helping hand.

Members of the philanthropic group collected the baby items and filled the backpacks as part of a joint effort with Las Alas Auxiliary, Assisteens, and community volunteers to help homeless and low-income new mothers care for their newborns. In addition to the donation to Sycamores, the groups delivered Baby Shower Backpacks to several other area agencies and clinics.
