Hathaway-Sycamores is Now Sycamores

Join us as we celebrate the next chapter in our organization.

We are pleased to share that, effective July 2021, Hathaway-Sycamores Child and Family Services will officially be changing its name to Sycamores. With this name change we will also be launching a new brand, logo (represented by the sycamore tree) and tagline – “a better life.”

As part of the rebranding strategy, our respected research and training program also has a new name – Hathaway Center for Excellence. It is through the training of our staff and other professionals on a local and national level, as well as our research initiatives, that we continue to ensure the provision of the most up-to-date research-based behavioral health practices to clinicians.

Thanks to help from our dedicated Board, and input from staff, consumers and supporters alike, we embarked on this rebranding strategy in order to both simplify and strengthen the agency name, while retaining a strong legacy element that is recognized in the community.

Ultimately the goal of all our programs is to help the children, young adults, adults and families we serve to develop the tools and determination to create “a better life.” Our name and branding changes serve to further enhance this goal and our steadfast commitment to the provision of effective mental health programs that reflect our organization’s innovative spirit and our deep historical roots.

Thank you for joining all of us at Sycamores in celebrating this new chapter. More importantly, thank you for your continued partnership as we work together to help children, young adults, adults and families create “a better life!”

Sincerely,

Michael Galper, Board Chair and Debra Manners, President & CEO
